The developers over at Remedy have sat down to film a video series going over their new title Control. In the latest video, Eevi Korhonen, Narrative Systems Designer, Same Lake, Creative Director, James McCaffrey, voice actor, and Courtney Hope, voice actor, discussed some characters and their background story found in the game.

They went over some of the main characters from the game, such as Zachariah Trench, the old director of the FBC (Federal Bureau of Control). He was described as “someone with a lot of layers to him” and “someone with their own agenda.” This leaves some mystery behind the character.

After, the devs talked about the hero of Control, the main protagonist, Jesse Faden. She is immediately thrust into the position of the director of the FBC after Trench. She was described as “someone with that innate quality to understand things very quickly.”

Control is shaping up to be a weird and interesting game and I can’t wait to see how much weirder it gets. The fifth entry into the dev diary series can be viewed below. The game is set to release in 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
