Remedy Entertainment Sharing In Progress Control Footage This Week
Remedy Entertainment will be sharing some in progress footage new IP Control, on a livestream Thursday starring the game's director and its protagonist.
Remedy Entertainment has revealed that they will be sharing some in progress footage for upcoming game Control during a livestream this Thursday, December 20, 2018.
Game Director Mikael Kasurinen will be on deck as will Courtney Hope who plays Jesse Faden the main protagonist of the game and Remedy’s Community Manager Vida Starčević. Hope was in Remedy’s previous game Quantum Break as Beth Wilder, an ally to Jack Joyce.
Control made a surprise appearance at Sony’s E3 2018 conference and it will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2019. This newest game from Remedy focuses on a secret agency in New York City that suffers from an invasion by an otherworldly threat. Jesse Faden is the newest Director who gets supernatural abilities and must fight through the Oldest House. Remedy icon James McCaffrey (Max Payne in the Max Payne trilogy) appears in Control as Zacharaiah Trench, the former Director whose death causes the succession of Jesse Faden to new Director for the Federal Bureau of Control. Similarly, Matthew Porretta (Alan Wake in Alan Wake) reappears as well, voicing Dr. Casper Darling, the head of research for the Bureau.
Remedy Entertainment made an appearance at New York Comic Con with the cast where we first learned about Max Payne and Alan Wake‘s returning voice actors. You can watch the Control reveal trailer, read our interview with game director Kasurinen, and join me in a seance to will Alan Wake 2 into existence.
Join us for a Twitch stream to round up the year. We'll be sharing in progress @ControlRemedy footage and talking with the Game Director @MikaelKasurinen, @thecourtneyhope (Jesse Faden), and other guests!
