Indie developer and publisher BadFly Interactive has announced its newest title, TauCeti Unknown Origin, a new cooperative FPS in development for consoles, PC, VR, and mobile platforms.

In TauCeti Unknown Origin, players assume the role of unnamed protagonist who manages to escape their crashing space ship, the ESS Meridian, via escape pod only to land on a strange and unknown planet called TauCeti f. Through your explorations of this planet, you will find the many beautiful and dangerous elements it holds.

The game’s environments range from lush forests, to deep canyons, and even contain a fair share of mysterious stone ruins from an ancient civilization. The temples of these ruins may lend the player a hand or they could be full of unknown danger.

TauCeti Unknown Origin provides class-based cooperative play for up to eight players and is accompanied by a story-mode that can either be played alone or as a group. The game also offers an open world with plenty of opportunity for players to harvest, craft, upgrade, and even build a base of operations. Modes include both PvE and PvP.

TauCeti Unknown Origin is coming to PC, PC VR, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and mobile devices. For more information on the game, you can visit its Steam update page or the developer’s official website. You can also check out the game’s teaser trailer below.
