New Nvidia GeForce datamine leak suggests that two Nintendo titles could be part of a "multiplatform project".

Yes, I know - it really does seem like there's more of a chance of boiling water with a chocolate teapot but as we all know, the gaming universe can be a strange place where even the most unbelievable things can and have happened.

Titles like Days Gone and God of War which initially was branded with “Only on PlayStation”, did eventually make the jump to PC so if Sony can do it, could Nintendo be next in line to also break down their tall and tough exterior?

As found on Gamingbible and also Reddit, a new Nvidia GeForce datamine leak suggests that two Nintendo titles could be ported to PC in a "Multiplatform project" initiative.

We all know how strict and protective Nintendo are over their games so this latest rumour certainly does seem a tad far fetched but in the Reddit post it states that "two Nintendo games listed as 'New Super Mario Bros. Wii' and "Mario + Rabbids" could be coming to PC. Although it also stresses that "it is possible that these two games were used only for test purposes or/and went unreleased".

What gives this rumour/leak a small glimmer of hope is that a more recent Nvidia GeForce leak stated that we'd get a GTA Trilogy and also that PlayStation’s God of War would be ported to PC, including other verified projects, so make of that what you will.

Personally, I can't see this happening. I don't think Nintendo have any real reasons to want to do this since they are doing pretty well with the structure they have in place and guard it as well as the Tower of London. But like any leak, take it with a pinch of salt and let's see what happens!
