Court Arbitrator Rules Bungie Must Return Stock to Marty O'Donnell

A court arbitrator has ordered Bungie return founder’s stock to ex-music head Marty O’Donnell, who was fired “without cause” earlier this year.

The ruling found that Bungie should not have stripped O’Donnell’s founding shares from him when he left the company

A contract O’Donnell had signed held that he would give up his shares if he left Bungie voluntarily. However, the arbitrator found that because O’Donnell’s employment had been terminated without cause, Bungie is obliged to give the shares back.

Earlier this month, O’Donnell was awarded 95 thousand dollars in damages in a seperate court case regarding unpayed wages from Bungie.
