Ubisoft has announced that those who take part in the open beta of Ivory Tower’s The Crew 2 —that takes place from June 21 to June 25 — and performs and submits their best stunts will be in with a chance to meet and spend time with Bryce Menzies.

Face Your Ride is the new event from Ubisoft and Red Bull Media House which offers players the chance to take advantage of the open beta by capturing some of their best stunts and submitting them to the official Face Your Ride event website. There are instructions to follow before submitting the stunt, here they are:

  • Download the open beta of The Crew 2
  • Go to the off-road family HQ
  • Unlock the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Evo 2
  • Record a stunt using the Live feature
  • Upload the stunt to YouTube and then submit it to the Face Your Ride website

Players will also stand a chance at winning Gold Editions of The Crew 2 by gaining the most public votes or get chosen by the jury. You can check out the trailer for the event below.

Bryce Menzies is a Pro-Pilot and is Red Bull’s Trophy Truck driver. Red Bull Media House and Ubisoft have worked together in the past back in 2016 for Ubisoft’s extreme mountain sports title Steep. For The Crew 2 Ubisoft have been working with over fifty prestigious brands to make the game feel as connected to the real world as possible.

As well as the event taking place, players will be able to compete in one of The Crew 2’s four Red Bull Drift Shifter events, allowing the player to drive several Red Bull official vehicles across the open-world. These vehicles will include the Formula 1 RB13, a Red Bull buggy, and even Bryce Menzies’ pre-runner truck. These will serve as just a taster for more Red Bull vehicles coming to the title in the future.

We’ve learned that The Crew 2 will receive free updates and regular cars will be added, and players are able to take part in another event leading up to release allowing them to play the original The Crew and unlock cars to be used in the sequel. You can read my thoughts on the closed beta and how I feel like the free-roam system has been redefined thanks to one system.

The Crew 2 will launch on June 29th, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC and you can pre-order it on Amazon. Check out the trailer below:
