Today, during Ubisoft's E3 2017 press briefing, the publisher revealed the previously teased The Crew sequel, aptly titled The Crew 2.

The game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC in Early 2018. With beta signups coming soon on the game's official website.

Interestingly, this time around the action won't be limited to cars, but we'll get to pilot aircraft and helicopters as well.

The Crew 2 was teased back in May, alongside Assassin's Creed Origins (which at the time did not have a confirmed name just yet), and Far Cry 5.

While the original The Crew had a slightly rocky start, it still managed to pick up and reach 12 million registered players, which apparently gave Ubisoft the confidence to push a sequel. It certainly had potential, and I'm quite eager to see how Ubisoft elaborated on it for the new game.
