20th Century Fox's latest title Crisis on the Planet of the Apes has finally arrived and to celebrate, the company has released a few screenshots and videos flaunting off the new VR game.

 Set in-between the films Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR will allow players experience the world of the franchise’s reboot universe from the perspective of an ape who is being held captive by humans and must escape from their research facility.

Crisis of the Planet of the Apes also marks the first title developed by Foxnext VR Studio, a subsidiary of 20th Century Fox’s Foxnext digital content division, which is dedicated to creating virtual reality games for the company. You can check out a small batch of in-game screenshots as well as two new videos; one is the official launch trailer, while the other focuses on a few minutes of gameplay.
