Criterion is Offering Burnout Paradise’s Legendary Cars for Free in Honor of Harold Ramis

This week we got the sad news that actor Harold Ramis passed away. He was the writer of some classic comedy movies including National Lampoon’s Animal HouseMeatballs and Stripes. He is most famous for writing and appearing in the two Ghostbusters movies.

In honor of Ramis, Criterion is offering the Legendary Cars pack for Burnout Paradise for free today on Xbox Live. The reason for this is that one of the cars called Manhattan Spirit is modeled after the Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1. The pack also includes homages to KITT from Knight Rider, the DeLorean from Back to the Future and General Lee from Duke’s of hazard. You can download the pack from XBL on the Xbox 360 or from the Xbox website.

This is a great gesture of respect for such an amazing talent. May Harold Ramis rest in peace.
