CitizenCon 2952 officially went live yesterday, featuring new presentations from what we can expect for the future of Star Citizen, and of course, Squadron 42. During the many announcements, Cloud Imperium Games officially revealed a brand-new set of ships coming to Star Citizen: The Crusader Spirit series.

Announcing a new concept ship, Spirit will be Crusader Industries' take on a 2-crew ship design, going head-to-head with Drake's Cutlass series and RSI's Freelancer series. Spirit will inherit the stylish design from other Crusader ships, and take it to the next level with a more aggressive look at the rear and a classy look at the front.

Spirit will be available in three variations that will be responsible for three different purposes. The Spirit C1 will be the cargo-focused version of the ship, thanks to a cargo container as big as 48 SCU that is capable of carrying big cargo or a ground vehicle as big as Cyclone. The ship's wide ramp will make it much easier to get vehicles on and off the container.

The next version is Spirit A1, which comes with two lines of Size 5 gravity-dropped bombs. Basically, this is the combat-focused version of Spirit, but you should keep in mind that bombs will be usable on stationary targets on the surface of the planets or moons. A1 is expected to equip with up to 10 bombs.

Last but not least, we have Spirit E1 which is the most classy version of the new ship series. What makes E1 stand out from the other variations is its first-class VIP deck for passengers with highly classy seats and a panorama glass roof, allowing them to see the sky with no limits while flying. Passengers will have special elevators to get to their VIP deck and will be granted access to personal lockers to secure their belongings.

Players can now purchase each one of the variations for $100 which will feature a lifetime guarantee. Or, you can just wait for the ship to be released and purchase it with your in-game currency. Keep in mind that the Spirit series is still in the concept phase, and it will probably take a significant amount of time for them to finally release.
