Robinson: The Journey is set to launch for PlayStation VR in North America on November 8th, and in Europe on November 9th, publisher and developer Crytek has announced.

Robinson: The Journey is a first person sci-fi adventure game developed by Crytek in partnership with Sony, exclusively for PlayStation VR. The game is largely centered around exploration of a wondrous and mysterious world pack full of secrets, dinosaur life, and challenges to overcome.

In Robinson: The Journey, players assume of the role of Robin, the 12 year old solitary survivor of the Esmeralda, a spaceship which crash lands on a mysterious planet filled with animal and dinosaur life, but no evidence of human habitation. Finding himself alone, he must learn to survive in a hostile environment as he goes on a journey of discovery to learn the purpose of the Esmeralda’s voyage, what happened to the spaceship, and ultimately find out who he really is.

It has also been confirmed that Robinson: The Journey will not require PlayStation Move controllers.  A price point has yet to be divulged, and there is still no word on whether or not it will be receiving a physical release.
