Since 2012, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been a favorite first-person shooter for the PC gaming community. Despite games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds competing against it, Valve has continued to show dedicated to the title by updating the game in multiple ways such as adding new maps and weapons. But what if Counter-Strike: Global Offensive got a battle royale mode? Well, one modder has turned that "what if?" into a reality.

Go 4 The Kill (or Go4TK) is a mod created by Kinsi and features a map four times the size of Counter-Strike': Global Offensive's bomb defusal map, Overpass. Of course, despite the spaciousness of the map, the performance of the mod should mirror that of a standard CS:GO map since there is not extensive detail and only features the necessities to ensure players have some cover during the match. In addition to a huge map, Go 4 The Kill also features leaderboards, custom gun characteristics, allowing you the opportunity to have bragging rights with your friends as well as customize your firearm to your heart's content.

Other noteworthy features that make this mod stand out from the vanilla game includes weapons having randomized inaccuracy but no recoil patterns, the player per game is targeted for up to 49 players per match, and running does no decrease your firing accuracy.

Initially, the mod was released this past August, and you can download it here. Unfortunately, North American gamers will be unable to access the mod now as the servers were shut down last month due to lack of interest. Nonetheless, the creator of the mod is open to bringing back the servers for it soon thanks to a "generous Redditor."

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is available now on Linux, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
