Valve's competitive FPS game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:Go) is known for the exorbitant prices of its rare weapon skins. However, the Five-SeveN/Kami skin has regained popularity for a different reason; it recently sold for an outrageous amount of money due to its resemblance to female genitalia, and the seller @popsdoesyourmom says it was purchased for 1.300€ (approximately $1430).To understand how this particular skin came to be, we need to take a moment to explore the concept of skin patterns. Simply put, skins in CS: Go are mostly arbitrary. Their patterns are randomly generated, ranging from pattern 1 to 999, and can be earned through random drops by playing in online communities and official servers. These 999 patterns can alter the visual aspect of weapons, or have no effect on their appearance, so finding a skin that actually changes a weapon beyond some minor visual tweaks can be quite rare (the Kami weapon is shown to have pattern number 909).ALSO READ: Valve Has Added Some Pretty Cool Features To Steam In New Client UpdateThese patterns also determine which part of the weapon is visually modified, with the rarest patterns covering most of the weapon's frame in a unique, captivating color. Examples of such patterns are shown in the link above, such as the AWP | Dragon Lore, which features a fire-breathing dragon on its side, and the Karambit knife skin, endowing the dagger with a striking mix of blue, orange, and purple, reminiscent of patterns found in seashells and pearls buried deep under the ocean.Another factor that affects the price of skins (and is likely to be what influenced the cost of this particular weapon) is skin wear. The Kami skin in question has a wear rating of 0.000960254, a remarkably low number that places it in the Factory New category. CS: Go Skins usually fall into five categories based on their wear rating, which determines how visibly worn they appear on the weapon: Factory New (0.00-0.07), Minimal Wear (0.07-0.15), Field-Tested (0.15-0.37), Well-Worn (0.37-0.44), and Battle-Scarred (0.44-1.00).

That said, even some Battle-Scarred skins can still look unique and appealing despite their wear rate. Thus, while the vagina pattern may be the most distinctive aspect of the weapon, it is generally difficult to find weapons with such patterns in mint condition.
