BioWare just introduced a new character for Dragon Age: Inquisition who happens to be not that "new." In fact, we meet (again) Cullen, former knight captain of the Templar Order and now one of the three advisors of the Inquisition, returning from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II.

According to BioWare's Brianne Battye Cullen is still processing the failure of the Order, and he's looking forward to fight for something he can believe in. He serves in the inquisition because he wants to be part of the solution to the problems that are tearing the world apart.

He's a natural leader with a solid sense of responsibility, and he's at the head of the military forces of the Inquisition on behalf of the player. In the new game there will be more chances to get to know him on a more personal level. There's a person behind the soldier, and we'll get chances to see that.

He has a lot of respect for his fellow advisors, but he doesn't always agree with them. For instance his methods are radically different from Leliana's. He prefers a honest, straightforward approach, while she works behind the scenes.
