UPDATE #2: Wasting little time, Sony has removed the Cuphead leaked image from the UK PlayStation Store, leaving a glaring hole where it was, just a short time ago. Without a doubt this is a suspect move, so keep an eye on your PS4 for any changes:

Additionally, Geoff Keighley has responded to the deluge of potential with one simple message. The letter of the day is "L". Feels bad, man.

UPDATE #1: The situation continues to evolve as it now appears possible that we will not only be getting a PS4 port of the original title but also a potential shadow-drop of the "The Last Course" DLC too! Currently over on the official Cuphead page on official the Xbox website.  Expect some big Cuphead news tomorrow!

Correction: Since our reporting, it's been discovered that the Xbox page has always listed the game and DLC as "Available Now," so we are marking that off as a false alarm:

Original reporting follows:

Despite all odds, Cuphead and Mugman may be making their way to PS4 if screenshots from the international PSN store is to be believed. You heard me right -- the once Xbox One killer indie title is going fully multiplatform, after previously making the jump to Nintendo Switch.

Screenshots of PSN began circulating twitter this evening showing Cuphead under the "New Games" section of the UK store, after being discovered by a user over on ResetEra going by Alchemist and shared by Gematsu. Currently, clicking on the icon won't load or take you to any page, but the fact that it is on there is a pretty strong hint that it will be soon. Sony has

When can we expect to hear news if this is official? No one knows... but there is a good lead. Earlier in the day, Geoff Keighley tweeted out that tomorrow morning there was going to be a special update from "one of our favorite indie game studios:"

The timing of both of these occurring sure seems suspect, and it certainly wouldn't be the first time that a Keighley reveal gets leaked ahead of his big announcement. I feel bad for him sometimes that leaks seem always to steal his thunder. In any case, this is still just speculation, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if tomorrow at 11 am eastern that Sony fans that have been chomping at the bit to play as an anthropomorphic cup-person will get their wishes granted.

Cuphead has exploded in popularity and expanded its brand since initially releasing on the Xbox One back in September of 2017. Last year the mug brothers came to the Nintendo Switch, was seen riding around in Tesla's, signed a deal with Netflix, became fashion icons in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, and even got some handy accessibility features added earlier this year!

Fingers crossed that when and if this does get announced, though, we get an update on the DLC "The Delicious Last Course" that people are waiting to get their hands on!
