Alongside the announcement that Byleth is soon joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the 5th character in the game's ongoing Fighter's Pass DLC package, Nintendo also unveiled which new Mii Fighter costumes will also be joining the game. In particular, one of these new costumes will surely please many fans.

Studio MDHR's Cuphead is now officially set to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a new variant costume for the Mii Gunner. Cuphead has frequently been asked to appear in the Smash series since debuting in his own game back in 2017. Just last year, the developers of Cuphead expressed interest in getting the character into the game as long as Nintendo was willing to do so. Along with getting a skin, the Cuphead Mii Gunner costume will also include the song "Floral Fury" from Cuphead to be played in Smash Ultimate.

As for the other four characters joining the game as Mii costumes, we're getting two Ubisoft representatives and two from Capcom. On the Ubisoft end of things, Altair's outfit from the original Assassin's Creed has been added to the game for the Mii Swordfighter. Additionally, a Rabbids hat will also be joining the game and can be worn by any of the three Mii characters.

As for Capcom, both costumes are from entries in the Mega Man series. The first is from Mega Man X and is an X costume for the Mii Gunner. Also for the Mii Gunner is a MegaMan.EXE outfit from the Mega Man  Battle Network series.

Per usual with these new costumes, each will set you back $0.75, including that of the Cuphead costume, despite the fact that it comes with a little bit more goodies. If you want to see all of these new outfits, you can check out the trailer at the bottom of the page.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for purchase on the Nintendo Switch. All of these aforementioned Mii outfits will be available to buy beginning on January 28.
