Sega held a stage event for the Virtual On PS4 ports and the new Tanita Twin Sticks on the second day of Tokyo Game Show 2019.

During the event, Sega revealed Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Masterpiece 1995-2001 on PS4, releasing on November 27. The game will be priced at 4500 yen plus tax in Japan.

Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Masterpiece 1995-2001 is the Virtual-On PS4 ports which were announced back in October 2018, along with a new crowdfunding for PS4 compatible Twin Sticks. The crowdfunding was a huge success and reached its goal the day of its announcement.

Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Masterpiece 1995-2001 will contain Virtual On: Cyber Troopers, Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram ver 5.66, and Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Forces. Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Masterpiece 1995-2001 also supports online multiplayer battles for all three games.

Gameplay featuring Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram ver 5.66 running in Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Masterpiece 1995-2001 was also featured. You can find a recording of it below.

As a Virtual-On fan, I'm quite happy about this rerelease. Virtual-On is a huge piece of gaming history and it influenced pretty much every 3D battler releasing nowadays. And I was spot on with my prediction too.

Update: Now that it became available, I added the official stream timestamped when the gameplay starts instead of my lower quality recording.
