When CD Projekt RED originally announced Cyberpunk 2077, it was said to be coming for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Yet, several years have passed since then, so not many would be surprised if the game slipped into the next generation, especially considering that 99.999% of the world population hasn't seen a single frame of gameplay.

Yet, during our interview with Quest designer Patrick Mills, he confirmed that the studio is still "aiming for current-gen hardware."

That being said, this doesn't mean that the game won't be at least cross-generation, even if the studio has not confirmed or denied any or that. With Microsoft already knee-deep into working on their next console, and  Sony likely to be doing the same, it wouldn't be surprising. Yet, this is just my personal speculation.

In the meanwhile, if you want something to help your imagination out you can check out our full preview, and watch the latest cinematic trailer and some really nice artwork. You can also read why the studio decided to go with first-person and character creation, and a few tidbits about all the NPCs you'll be able to smooch in the game.
