This Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay is Totally Compelling
Irena Meier brings new life to the upcoming CD Projekt Red title.
For a long time, fans of CD Pojekt Red’s newest epic, Cyberpunk 2077, had little more than a photo of the game’s purported hero. Nowadays, however, there is a wealth of news about the game, and some excellent cosplays of its key characters are working to bring it to life. Irena Meier, in collaboration with CD Projekt Red, has added one such cosplay to the mix, and her stunning portrayal of the game’s protagonist, V, promises to build even more hype.
Meier’s V seems to have taken some inspiration from the character’s appearance at E3 2018, and it comes complete with cyberware “mantis blades,” incredible make-up, and a sharp undercut. You can practically feel her intensity in the shoot. Check it out below.
Even better, Meier has posted a brief video of her cosplay via her Twitter account. It’s always fun to see cosplay in motion, though some portrayals are more practical than others. In this case, Meier’s V looks really comfortable and cool as she swings her mantis blades around with menacing precision.
Thanks for all kind words about my cosplay! It makes me so happy 😊❤️

This is not the first time Meier has worked on the same property as CD Projekt Red. She has previously cosplayed Triss Merigold from The Witcher franchise, and her work there is just incredibly alluring. Perhaps that’s how CD Projekt Red first noticed her and enlisted her to work on this portrayal of V. Her take on Triss is right here.
V, of course, is a customizable character in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. Players will not only have an opportunity to adjust the character’s gender, but their appearance as well. As a result, we should start to see a slew of great and diverse V cosplays. Stay tuned to DualShockers to find the best of them. For more on Irena Meier, check out her website and her Twitter page.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch next year on April 16, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
