Cyberpunk 2077 E3 2019 Demo Goes Public at PAX West
No word on if Keanu Reeves will be there, but you can at least enjoy his company in Cyberpunk 2077.
Despite being treated to a release date and a guest appearance by the global treasure that is Keanu Reeves, there was a distinct lack of gameplay shown for Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019. We saw a new cinematic trailer during Microsoft’s press conference, but any and all gameplay was kept behind closed doors.
If you weren’t among the people who got to see the demo, you’ll have your chance–that same demo goes public at PAX West 2019. CD Projekt Red Global Community Lead Marcin Momot confirmed this news on Twitter by responding to news that the extended gameplay demo won’t be made public until after Gamescom 2019, which runs August 20-24.
It’s going to happen exactly during PAX West. 🙂

PAX West runs August 30-September 2, so you won’t have to wait too long, although the exact day it’ll go public within that time frame is still unknown. Don’t expect this demo to be playable, however–it was hands-off at E3 2019 and will likely stay that way.
Cyberpunk 2077 followed a similar timeline last year. We saw a cinematic trailer at E3 2018, then 48 minutes of gameplay in late August. All signs point to this newest demo being around the same length. Given that no footage has come out of that demo during its showing at E3 2019, we can’t say exactly what you should expect from it. However, you can expect some combat, stealth, hacking, and character customization.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 16, 2020.
