With Gamescom 2019 quickly coming right around the corner, more video game companies attending the show are starting to reveal what it is that they have planned. Today, CD Projekt Red ended up divulging its strategy for the convention and it's not a whole lot different than what was seen earlier this summer at E3.

Once again at Gamescom, Cyberpunk 2077 will be the centerpiece of what CD Projekt Red has to show, which isn't a surprise at all. Those attending Gamescom will be able to see live demos of Cyberpunk 2077 played at the game's booth from Wednesday until Saturday the week of the show. Meanwhile, media members will be able to see behind-closed-doors presentations of the game from Tuesday until Thursday that week.

If you weren't at E3 2019 just a month ago, this is nearly identical to what CD Projekt Red did in Los Angeles. The only major difference this time around is that those looking to compete in the Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay contest will be able to present their own outfits during Gamescom. If you want to read more about this contest, you can find all the rules here.

And if you can't attend Gamescom for yourself to see the latest look at Cyberpunk 2077, then fear not. CD Projekt has already confirmed that it will be releasing new gameplay footage for the title at PAX West, which is only one week after the end of Gamescom. So no matter what, you'll be getting to see more of this highly-anticipated game in action soon enough.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive next year on April 16, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Gamescom 2019 will take place from August 20-24.
