Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the few open-world RPG games that only supports a first-person view. Despite a lot of concerns from fans around the game's first-person perspective, now it seems most of the players are satisfied with the game's original camera, however, you won't probably miss the chance to give a look at how the game would look if it was supporting a third-person view as well.

" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PC modders, Cyberpunk 2077 now has an unofficial third-person camera that looks quite good. Despite being a first-person game, V's movement and animations look solid enough in the third-person perspective that makes it easily playable with this unofficial mod. However, the footage doesn't show how the shooting would look like in third-person.

If the mod doesn't affect the shooting, a sudden move from third-person to first-person when aiming could look a little bit messy, however, modders will probably look into that as well.

CD Projekt RED clarified several times before Cyberpunk 2077's launch that due to story-related matters, they wouldn't change the first-person camera in the game. That being said, adding a third-person mode as post-launch content for the game might seem possible for the game, especially given that how solid it looks even with an unofficial mod.

Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 is facing numerous technical issues on all platforms, especially PS4 and Xbox One. The 1.05 update launched recently on all platforms and tackled some of the existing problems with quests and visuals, but the game still looks unplayable on last-gen consoles.

CD Projekt RED has promised to wipe out most of the current issues with two big patches in January and February next year. The company asked players for another chance until the release of the patches, however, they also provided refund options through the PlayStation and Microsoft stores for those who don't want to wait.
