Update: Cyberpunk 2077 official Twitter account reaffirmed that the microtransactions will only be available for the multiplayer content.

A recent Q&A session between the CD Projekt president and the investors of the company has revealed some new information on Cyberpunk 2077, including new details around its multiplayer mode.

CD Projekt RED is mostly known for its narrative-driven single-player games. The studio has never stepped into the multiplayer area on a great scale, except for Gwent, their card-based game that experienced a quite successful launch on mobile platforms. However, they are going to bring a large scale multiplayer mode to Cyberpunk 2077 sometimes after its launch. Although it's yet to be revealed how the multiplayer mechanics will work in the game, fans already expect something in the scale of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Adam Kiciński, president of CD Projekt confirmed that the multiplayer section of the game will have microtransactions and in-game purchases as it's a "great setting for selling things," though he clarified that they won't treat aggressively with players in this area. According to Kiciński, the developers are trying to add in-game purchases in a way to make players happy when spending money on.

After years of anticipation, Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be available this November across the world. Hopefully, the game won't be delayed again as CD Projekt RED recently assured fans that everything is going forward as planned before.

Cyberpunk 2077's recent trailer from the second episode of Night City Wire revealed the life paths and some of the weapons available in the game.

Given that over two months are left until the game's launch, there might be another Night City Wire episode in the coming weeks or months. That said, if you can't wait for a new trailer, make sure to check out the game's RTX-On gameplay footage that was released last week.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 19. The next-gen versions of the game will arrive on a later date.
