Following Cyberpunk 2077's rocky launch back in 2020, a next-gen update could finally be on the way as a PlayStation 5 version of the game has been spotted in the PSN database.

The news comes just weeks after a recent leak revealed a supposed 1.5 patch that would "re-launch" the game. However, this was promptly shut down by a developer at CD Projekt Red who stated that it "does not add up".

Although the developers were quick to shut down the speculation, a next-gen update is still in the works, and an announcement could be coming soon as a PlayStation 5 version has been discovered in the PSN database.
