When it comes to the games of next year that we're most looking forward to, Cyberpunk 2077 is by far one of the most easily anticipated 2020 games on the horizon. Coming from CD Projekt Red, there's no doubt that the game seems like it will deliver cutting-edge visuals and a huge world to explore, but a new fan-made project envisions what it would like like from an earlier era of gaming.

A new fan-made trailer from Bearly Regal (YouTube) takes viewers through a visual tour of a project to turn Cyberpunk 2077 into a PS1-era first-person game. The video itself walks through several environments and scenes inspired by what we've seen of the game so far, along with a behind-the-scenes look at how the demo (and video) were put together.

Though the game is still under a year away from release, Cyberpunk 2077 has already been a huge source of inspiration for intriguing fan creations, from cosplay, to fan art, and more. However, the video from Bearly Regal is one of the more involved fan creations we've seen that are inspired by the game yet, and given the already retro aesthetic of the game itself, it's suitable to see how it would look as a video game that came straight out of the '90s.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020, and you can pre-order the game over on Amazon now. For a closer look at the fan-made PS1 trailer from Bearly Regal, you can check out the video below:
