CD Projekt RED's teasing of Cyberpunk 2077 over the years has been borderline cruel. There have been many mentions and teases but very little substance to throw fans a cookie. After all, it has been almost six years since the announcement of the game in 2012.

At long last, during Microsoft's press conference from E3 2018, the beloved polish developer opened the floodgates to give us a much-anticipated glimpse. Or better, at long last, we at least saw a new cinematic trailer.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Incidentally, at least for the moment, we did not get a release date or even a window, but the cinematics are awesome. Hopefully, we'll see gameplay before E3 ends, and who knows, we might still get to know when we'll finally play the game. The show has just begun.

Of course, this is just one of the many reveals from today's Xbox press briefing. You can check out everything else in the livestream directly from Microsoft.
