It's been six years since CD Project Red showcased their initial teaser trailer and now fans finally got to see a release date for the much awaited Cyberpunk 2077 at Xbox E3 this year alongside a thrilling new trailer. If you weren't excited about this upcoming game already, I'm pretty sure the arrival of Keanu Reeves as Mr. Fusion within the title and then his breathtaking presence on the E3 stage may have tipped you over the edge. If that really wasn't enough for you, how about vehicles that come to you when called?

We all know the hassle of leaving our car or motorcycle somewhere while we go off on a quest or to explore the map only to have to trek all the way back to the spot we left it at - it's a right pain in the ass. Well, worry not as the devs over at CD Product Red have implemented a call-back feature within all of their vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 similar to The Witcher 3's faithful companion Roach - when called by Geralt of Rivia, the mare races to his location.

In an E3 interview with VG24/7, lead quest designer Pawel Sasko explains that all the vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 are fitted with artificial intelligence (AI) so if you call it, you will be able to witness the car driving towards you. He further explains that you can go off and just leave the vehicle wherever you want and then when you're done, you call the vehicle and it will be there waiting for you leaving you free for more important matters at hand.

“The same that happens with Roach so basically, because those cars are equipped with AI, if you call it, you can see the car driving towards you. So you can see when it arrives, basically. You can see as your motorcycle arrives, you can see as your car arrives. So you can just leave it wherever you want, it can go somewhere, just call it, and AI makes it like ‘bzzt!’, he drives by and waits for you.”

It seems as though CD Project Red is still pondering on some ideas regarding if players will be allowed to obtain a huge collection of vehicles or only allow a chosen few for them to play with. Sasko explains that they are "still discussing, you know if you can own all the cars or some of the cars, because there are a few gameplay things, because the driving model for the cars, it just has to be crisp. It’s going to be plenty. And thing is that you can swap those cars, so you can decide ‘okay that’s my main car, that’s my motorcycle that I’m driving with’.”

Again, like The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 will have multiple endings as confirmed by quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz in an interview with YongYea at E3 2019. Although Tomaszkiewicz didn't go into very much detail surrounding the subject, they did state there will be multiple ways the story can end.

Cyberpunk 2077 will launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on April 16, 2020
