Even though CD Projekt Red both develops and self-publishes most of their own games, it's pretty typical to see them team up with various publishers to help distribute their games in various regions. As was announced today, they'll be continuing this practice with their upcoming first-person RPG, Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red revealed today that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will serve as the distributor of Cyberpunk 2077 in the North American region today, a move that isn't surprising whatsoever. Warner Bros. has teamed with CD Projekt in the past and previously has helped them distribute both The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

CD PROJEKT’s Member of the Board and SVP, Michał Nowakowski, spoke about this partnership occurring once again and said the following:

“We’ve worked with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and both releases turned out to be really successful, so we’re entering this new stage of our cooperation with great confidence. Cyberpunk 2077 is our biggest and most ambitious project to date, and I’m really looking forward to all the amazing things we can achieve together.”

It's great to now know who will be helping CD Projekt ship out Cyberpunk 2077, but the bigger question is that of when the game will be releasing. Currently, Cyberpunk 2077 has no launch window but it is slated to arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC whenever it does come out.
