Prior to its delay earlier this year, today was supposed to be the day that we would all be playing CD Projekt Red's much-anticipated RPG Cyberpunk 2077. While we now won't be able to get our hands on the game until September, there are still some Cyberpunk happenings transpiring right now.Over on Twitter today, the official Xbox account teased some sort of announcement that absolutely has to do with Cyberpunk 2077. While not explicitly stated in the tweet, the string of code and the video embedded in the post is nearly identical to those teases that we've seen in the past associated with CD Projekt's upcoming sci-fi project. This crossover with Xbox and Cyberpunk 2077 goes further than just a simple tweet, too. If you visit the official Xbox website, you'll be greeted with a sort of glitch on the webpage that looks as though you've been hacked. This "glitch" then ends with a message that says some sort of announcement will be coming in four days on April 20.

So just what is going on here with Xbox and Cyberpunk 2077? Well, it seems to have something to do with hardware. Yesterday, a new listing appeared on Amazon for an official Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One controller. The controller is said to release on May 4, but as of now, neither CD Projekt nor Xbox have officially announced that this item is coming.

Furthermore, some have pointed out that you can briefly see a silhouette of an Xbox One console on the platform's website when it is going through its glitching phase. With this in mind, it seems pretty likely that a limited edition Cyberpunk Xbox One console is likely to be announced in the coming days. When it is planned to release remains to be seen, but if it's anything like the controller's supposed release date, perhaps this console could be landing sooner than we might think.

We'll keep you posted on this story as it will seemingly continue to develop in the next few days. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PC and PS4 in addition to heading to Xbox One later this year on September 17. A version of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X is said to be coming down the road, too.
