More than a year has passed since the turbulent launch of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.
When it launched in December 2019, after many, many delays, the game was a buggy mess and in a lot of cases, completely unplayable.
The release led to the game being removed from both the PlayStation and Xbox Stores, refunds being issued and one of the co-founders of the studio issuing a heartfelt public apology for the issues.
During that public apology, CD Projekt Red laid out a roadmap for the future of Cyberpunk, with a giant update for next-gen compatibility scheduled for 2021. This update was delayed once again, this time into 2022, however, it dropped yesterday and players have started to figure out some of the changes, including awesome references to Attack on Titan, Dragon Ball Z and more.
Cyberpunk 2077 Adds Dragon Ball Z and Attack on Titan Poses
Amongst the hundreds of different additions and bug fixes Cyberpunk 2077’s big 1.5 update added, CD Projekt Red added some extra features to the game’s Photo Mode, in the form of poses.
Spotted by Reddit user u/chipthehippie, players can now strike a pose like a variety of characters from popular anime and TV shows.
In the image shared on the Cyberpunk Subreddit, chipthehippie showed four different Dragon Ball Z poses, including a Kamehameha from Goku and Recoome’s signature Ginyu Force pose, as well as the Scout salute from Attack on Titan.
Alongside the poses from these anime, new photo opportunities from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sailor Moon and Power Rangers have arrived.
The poses will be available for players from the beginning of the game, provided they have downloaded the update and fall under the “idle” category within Photo Mode.
