Last night, while trying to fight my body's desire to get as little sleep as possible, Elon Musk was unveiling a brand new Tesla vehicle. This vehicle was mentioned back in 2012 when Musk stated in a tweet that he wanted to create a type of super truck with "crazy torque, dynamic air suspension and corners like its [sic] on rails". Last night, he showcased the Cybertruck during a live stream of the unveiling. The vehicle is detailed (thanks Wired) to cost $39,900 for the single motor version which can get a good 250 miles of range. It can tow 7,500 pounds, and goes 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds. A more expensive version with dual motors that can get 300 miles of range costs $49,000 which can tow 10,000 pounds and is capable of hitting 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. There's also to be a $69,900 model that can go from 0-60 in under 60 seconds with over 500 miles of range.Additionally, the body —partly inspired by "The Spy Who Loved Me"— is supposed to be able to take a beating from a sledgehammer, but the armored glass, while it's meant to withstand damage, during the event a metal ball lobbed at the windows caused them to smash. Although, admittedly, the window didn't cave in and the ball just bounced off. Still somewhat impressive despite being not what Musk was planning to demonstrate. But wait, why is Musk's new polygonal toy car being mentioned on a gaming website? Because the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account tweeted musk saying, "We had a deal, Elon" adding some googly eyes to the tweet for added humor. And then Elon replied saying "See ya in 2077" with a cheeky winky face emoji.

Could this really be an indication that perhaps Elon Musk and CD Projekt Red are teasing that the Cybertruck could be making an appearance in the upcoming cyberpunk RPG that cameos Keanu Reeves? It could be plausible, we already know players can drive around in Cyberpunk 2077 and Musk does have a strong passion for video games. A passion that crosses over to some of his Tesla vehicles which include Tesla Arcade, allowing drivers to play games in their parked Tesla. Fallout: Shelter and Cuphead have also hit the vehicles.

The reveal of the Cybertruck does seem fitting to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, although at the same time looks like it's still trying to process the rest of its textures.

So, Elon Musk's Cybertruck might make an appearance in Cyberpunk 2077, it might not. I think it'd be pretty damn nifty if it did, to be honest. What do you think?
