It’s D-Day, and that means it’s time to play one of the most important battles of modern history. Again. The D-Day DLC is coming to Iron Front – Liberation 1944, and now gamers can not only take the fight to the Germans in Normandy, but finally play as the American troops.

If you haven’t heard of Iron Front – Liberation 1944, it’s a tactical WWII shooter by Bohemian Interactive that focuses on the battle between the Russians and Germans over the Eastern Front. Built off of the Arma II Operation Arrowhead engine, players in Iron Front – Liberation 1944 can play the campaign alone, play cooperatively online, or compete against each other in the typical assortment of Multiplayer modes. Players can also dive into a mission editor where they can make new scenarios that can be shared online.

The D-Day pack brings the other side of the battle against the Germans, and with the arrival of the Americans come the arrival of new weapons and vehicles.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
