Onechanbara and Earth Defense Force studio D3 Publisher is teasing a new game that is likely to be revealed during Sony's upcoming press conference.

Today D3 Publisher opened a new teaser website for an unspecified new game of which nothing is known for the moment.

That being said, the title is probably coming on PlayStation platforms, as the count down timer is expected to expire on November 19th at 6 PM Japan time, which is just after the end of Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference.

This is very likely to indicate that the game will be revealed at the press conference, as it happened last year with Earth Defense Force 5.

While we don’t know the nature of the game, D3 Publisher is known for rather quirky and often sexy series like Onechanbara, Omega Labyrinth, Bullet Girls and Dream Club. They  just announced Bullet Girls Phantasia for PS4 and PS Vita and Earth Defense Force 4.1: Wing Diver for PS4, so the new title probably belongs to a different IP, or to a new one.

The teaser site looks rather “serious” displaying simply what appears to be a rusty steel bulkhead, but with D3 Publisher you really never know. It could literally be anything.

Of course, we’ll keep you posted on the announcement here at DualShockers as soon as it’s made. We’ll be sitting in the audience at the conference with our laptops in our laps. No pun intended.
