Pokemon movies are nothing new, spanning all the way back to 1998 with Pokemon: The First Movie.

Since then, the franchise has had dozens of more motion pictures including the likes of Detective Pikachu, Pokemon: I Choose You and Mewtwo Strikes Back.

The latest of these movies is set to head west very soon and is titled, Pokemon: Secrets of the Jungle.

But one feature of the movie has fans confused, the mention of a Pokemon called Dada Zarude. What is this mysterious Pokemon and how does it feature in the movie? Let's take a look now.

What is Pokemon: Secrets of the Jungle?

Pokemon: Secrets of the Jungle is the latest anime movie in the Pokemon franchise.

It's set within the Okoya Forest and follows the Mythical Pokemon Zarude, as well as Pokemon stalwarts, Ash Ketchum and Pikachu.

It's set to release on Netflix on October 8 and is sure to gain eyes from eager viewers and Pokemon fans alike from all over the world.

What is Dada Zarude from Pokemon Secrets of The Jungle?

One mystery surrounding the movie regards the aforementioned "Dada Zarude", which not only features in the film, but is also available as a distribution Pokemon for Sword and Shield, alongside a Shiny Celebi.

However, while Dada Zarude is available, nobody really knows what it is.

Thankfully, the answer is fairly simple. This Zarude is the main Pokemon within the movie.

Dada Zarude earns its "Dada" title by bringing up a human child, named Koko, who believes he himself is actually a Zarude. The Secrets of the Jungle move is set to focus on the pair and their encounter with both Ash and Pikachu. It is noted for wearing a bright pink cape, something which will hopefully be prevalent in it's Sword and Shield version.
