Today, Arc System Works published the first teaser trailer for Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz.  The game was first announced in July and is a prequel of the Tantei Jinguji Saburo series, known in the west as Jake Hunter Detective Story.

Daedalus stars Keisuke Jinguji, Saburo Jinguji/Jake Hunter’s grandfather, during his younger days in New York. The game's story will explain how he became a famous detective. The trailer gives us a glimpse of some new characters. It also shows gameplay, giving us a first look at the "stance" and "tree of thought" systems in action, and the 360° exploration of crime scenes.

A limited edition was also revealed, containing bonus contents such as a Jake Hunter Detective Story calendar, Daedalus' soundtrack and an artbook.

New artwork which serves as the game case's cover was also revealed. You can take a look at the artwork, the limited edition and the trailer below.
