Nintendo is currently hosting its E3 Direct, and the house of Mario and Zelda just revealed Daemon X Machina.

The title is a mecha game with a clear Armored Core vibe featuring mecha design by Shoji Kawamori known from countless anime series including Macross. Of course, he also worked on the Armored Core series.

We also get Armored Core 2 and 3 Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, No More Heroes character designer Yusuke Kozaki, Soulcalibur composer Junichi Nakatsuru, alongside Ryo Hamamoto known for the Tekken series.

At the helm are Monster Hunter Stories Director Ken Awata and Chief Designer Ken Karube. It’s certainly a star-spangled staff.

The game is being developed by Marvelous First Studio in Unreal Engine 4, and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019.

Of course, this was just one of the many news shared at Nintendo’s E3 presentation. If you want to check out the rest, you can enjoy the full recording.
