Thanks to the success of the massively popular video games from CD Projekt Red and the upcoming Netflix series, The Witcher and its iconic characters have become household names around the world. While Geralt and Ciri have usually been found slaying monsters around the Continent, they'll soon find themselves taking on a different set of enemies in a new collaboration with Daemon X Machina.

Developer Marvelous Games has revealed a new DLC collaboration for Daemon X Machina with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that brings players of the mech action game a set of skins to change their character into Geralt and Ciri. The DLC is likely intended to tie in with the recent release of The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch from October, and it's still nonetheless awesome to see Geralt and Ciri in the futuristic world of Daemon X Machina (sorry, Cyberpunk 2077), as unlikely of a crossover as it may be.

At this time it appears that the DLC is currently live on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop and should be making its way over to the US and European eShops soon, and is a free piece of DLC for players of Daemon X Machina. In a new video released by Marvelous, you can get a closer look at seeing Geralt and Ciri in action: personally, I happen to think they look quite cool in the game's cel-shaded art style while remaining faithful to their appearances in The Witcher 3.

Daemon X Machina and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition are both available now for Nintendo Switch. For a closer look at the new DLC, you can check out the trailer below, along with several images showing the game's renditions of Geralt and Ciri in closer detail:
