Deep Silver, Bigmoon Entertainment, and the Amaury Sport Organization announced Dakar 18, an open-world racing game based on the annual cross-country Dakar Rally, back in January. Today, a brand new trailer was released for the game showcasing all the different types of vehicles players can control and revealing that the game will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 11.

Dakar 18 lets players take control of a variety of different vehicles, such as motorcycles, ATVs, cars, trucks, and SxS, so those are what is shown off in this newest trailer. In addition, we get a better look at several of the game's environments, which consists of 14 open world stages spread across several South American countries like Argentina, Boliva, and Peru.

All of the major teams, vehicles, and pilots from the actual Dakar Rally are featured in Dakar 18 as the developers got permission from the Amaury Sport Organisation who organizes the event. Dakar 18 is also set to include single player, split-screen, and online multiplayer modes.

You can check out some new screenshots and the vehicle-focused trailer below. Dakar 18 is currently set to release on September 11 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
