Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony had a special localization panel during Anime Expo 2017 hosted by publisher NISA.

During the panel, the localization team revealed that Danganronpa V3 had around 2.4 million characters of Japanese text that needed to be translated and localized. The team broke this down further by adding that this comes out to 96 thousand lines of English text and 12 thousand voice lines.

In addition to this, the publisher compared Danganronpa V3 to other NISA published titles:

Disgaea 5:

  • Japanese character count: 848,032
  • English line count: 33,921

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc:

  • Japanese character count: 1,103,350
  • English line count: 44,134

Danagronpa 2: Goodbye Dispair:

  • Japanese character count: 1,491,575
  • English line count: 59,663

The panel stated that Danganronpa V3 has pretty much over 400 pages of text.

In Danganronpa V3, a cast of Ultimates, the most skilled at a particular subject, have been kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. In order to escape, one of the characters must get away with murder, but that is easier said than done.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will come a little later, on September 29th, only for PS4 and PS Vita.
