A team made mainly by Naughty Dog staffers led by Senior Cinematics Animator Tal Peleg has been working on the first act of a CG fan short inspired by Electronic Arts' Dante's inferno titled Dante's Redemption, and recently we got new assets.

First of all, below you can check out the teaser trailer of Act 1 of the short, giving a glimpse on what we can expect.

Since we're in a festive timeframe, we also get a Christmas-themed picture, giving a good look on Dante's character model and some environment art.

And considering the times, could a homage to the new Star Wars be missing?

Below you can also check some more frames from Act 1, and concept artwork.

Alongside Tal Peleg, the short involves the work of Tyler Thornock (Naughty Dog's Lead Character Technical Director), Kristopher Fancsali (Character artist at Fireforge), Soa Lee (Character Artist at Naughty Dog), Damon Shelton (Naughty Dog Motion Capture Technical Director) and Brian Kenny (Naughty Dog Technical Artist).

As usual, remember that this is a fan project. The artists involved do it out of passion and to hone their techniques. Naughty Dog as a studio isn't involved in the project, and most definitely isn't working on a Dante's Inferno sequel.
