Dark Souls Board Game Kickstarter Blasts Past First Stretch Goal in Three Minutes, Nears One Million in Funding

Hot on the heels of one of the biggest game releases of the year so far, Dark Souls III, a Kickstarter has been launched for a board game based on the Dark Souls universe.

The Kickstarter went live yesterday, April 19th, when it met the first major funding goal of $70,832 in just three minutes. Since then, at the time of this writing, the campaign has reached a jaw dropping $978,127 in funding, clearing more than two dozen stretch goals and unlocking tons of additional characters, bosses, and pieces that will be included in the game.
