Dark Souls III’s First Expansion Expected in Fall 2016, According to Bandai Namco
This week, players were once more thrust into the arms of death with the launch of the highly-anticipated Dark Souls III, and while there is surely more than enough to keep players engaged since its launch this week, more Dark Souls will be coming with the sequel’s first expansion pack arriving in the fall.
Speaking with Videogamer, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment detailed that the first expansion DLC for Dark Souls III “is due to release in autumn,” with the game’s second expansion expected at a later date.
No other specific details or announcements were given regarding what players can expect from the DLC expansions, though Bandai Namco has previously mentioned the packs containing new enemies, weapons, armor, bosses, and locations can be expected for the expansions, which will be available to purchase individually or as part of the game’s Season Pass, which is available for $24.99/£19.99.
Dark Souls III is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
