Dark Souls III’s Japanese Release Date Announced; Screenshots Released

Today Bandai Namco announced the release data fore the Japanese market of Dark Souls III, that will hit the Japanese shelves on March 24th.

Interestingly, the press release  was only for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, and clarified that news for the worldwide release and for PC will come at a later time.

In addition to this, the publisher announced a network test running with the following schedule:

  • October 16, 2015 (Friday) 20:00 to 23:00
  • October 17, 2015 (Saturday) 20:00 to 23:00
  • October 18, 2015 (Sunday) 20:00 to 23:00

Testers will be decided at random, and application is already available here. It’s worth mentioning that the announcement is for Japan, so it remains to be seen if western players have a chance to be accepted. The test will be conducted on PS4.

A soundtrack CD and map will be included in the retail version as first print bonuses, and you can see them below alongside the box artwork and two new screenshots.
