Red Hook Studios announced Darkest Dungeons is getting multiplayer DLC. Titled Butcher's Circus, the upcoming DLC introduces PvP arena battles to the gothic roguelike turn-based RPG.Seen in a tweet announcing the new Darkest Dungeons DLC, Butcher's Circus will let you fight against your friends or enemies in no-holds-barred arena battles. Each team will pick a party and loadout, and climb the ranks as you attempt to take out the opposing team. You will also unlock banner components to customize your very own banner. According to the Steam page, you will need a copy of Darkest Dungeon to play the Butcher's Circus DLC. Since these arena battles are conducted online, you will also need an internet connection. You do not need a powerful PC to play Darkest Dungeon, but just in case, here are the system requirements for Butcher's Circus:

There aren't any specified dates for the Darkest Dungeon DLC Butcher's Circus' release. However, scrolling over the announcement over the "Recent Events & Announcments" section of the Steam page seems to indicate the DLC is coming in May 2020. Otherwise, it simply says it is "coming soon."
