Darkfall: Unholy Wars Developer Diary Showcases a Fully Redesigned Interface

on November 24, 2012 1:18 PM

It’s no real mystery that the UI of the original Darkfall was a tad clunky and unwieldy. The development team decided to completely redesign it for Darkfall: Unholy Wars in order to better integrate the new features with what remains of the old ones, and to provide a better gameplay experience.

Aventurine released a new developer diary video with designer Tork Shaw, showing how the new interface will work, and how it’s been inspired pretty heavily by action games and third person shooters. That’s definitely a novel approach to MMORPG interfaces.

You can check the video out below, as you wait for the game’s release on December the 12th.
