Media Molecule’s Technical Director, Dave Smith, shares his thoughts on the world of Tearaway in this video interview, courtesy of Rocket Cheetah. Smith talks about the world’s initial reaction to Tearaway, why Mm decided to develop a game specifically for the Vita and the team’s vision for the game.
Smith points out that the new hardware (Vita) was ‘a big inspiration’ in the creation of Tearaway and ‘because we were involved with the Vita from such an early stage we were able to have input into the hardware design’. He went on to say that ‘Tearaway very much lives on the Vita, I couldn’t imagine it anywhere else.’
