In a strange twist, David Hayter is once again voicing Solid Snake, but for an overdub commercial about Ford’s automobiles.
The voice actor tweeted out two links to the commercials, one that features a codec call between himself as Snake and Colonel Roy Campbell, played by Paul Eiding. Campbell explains the features of the Ford Focus SE, to which Snake responds that he is going to fulton-extract one right now.
The second video only features Psycho Mantis as he reads Snake’s mind and details the Ford Fusion Titanium.
Hayter had previously tweeted a teaser of his return to the voice recording booth, with the title Codec Call.
