David Jaffe’s New Game Teased for PlayStation Experience Won’t Be a Horror Title; it’s an Action Game

on November 25, 2014 3:19 PM

The new PlayStation Experience trailer, hiding a tease of the new game by Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe and his new studio Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, created quite a lot of speculation. Due to the nature of the trailer many immediately thought that it could be a horror game.

Jaffe quickly denied the possibility on Twitter, mentioning that the intention was just to make a fun video.

According to Jaffe’s linkedin profile, the new game is “an action title set in a new IP/World.”

Incidentally, below you can check out two recent videos featuring two of the developers working at Bartlet Jones. Even here the horror vibe is quite strong, but looks like they just like to make fun videos. We’ll just have to wait and see what this will all be about. PlayStation Experience is less than two weeks away, on December 6th and 7th.
