Invader Studios' upcoming survival horror game began as a fan remake of Resident Evil 2, but it has grown much larger than that. Now, the developer is moving forward with Daymare: 1998.

Recently, the Daymare: 1998 offered a playable demo at Milan Games Week 2017, giving over 600 lucky folks the opportunity to play in its terror-inducing setting first-hand. Although you might not have been there to see it for yourself, Invader Studios has provided a new batch of screenshots for us to drool over. You will find this gallery below.

Back in March, Invader Studios announced that Daymare: 1998 had found success through Steam's Greenlight program, after the game had fallen short of a $180,000 Kickstarter goal. However, the game's development seems to be moving along despite its early setback, with the promise of a 2018 release.

Daymare: 1998 is planned to release for PC in July 2018, followed by a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release sometime afterward. For more information on the game, you can visit the developer's official website or the game's Steam page.

In March, DualShockers got the chance to speak with Invader Studios a bit about what has gone into Daymare: 1998, as well as why the developer has decided to focus on the 90s era survival horror genre. You can find the full interview here.

As promised, you will find the gallery of brand new screenshots below.
