Bend Studio’s Days Gone Officially Delayed to April 26, 2019
Thanks to an incredibly crowded release schedule, Days Gone has officially moved out of the month of February and will now release on April 26, 2018.
If you’ve been looking forward to getting your hands on Bend Studio’s next game Days Gone, then you’ll have to wait a bit longer. Today, the developer, alongside publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, announced that the title has been delayed by a little more than a month, to April 26, 2019.
While the title was originally meant to launch on February 22, 2019, Bend stated that the shift in release date was due to the month already being crowded with other games. For reference, just on the original day alone, Anthem, Crackdown 3, and Metro Exodus are all scheduled for release, and that’s not even counting the rest of month, which sees titles like Dead or Alive 6 and Trials Rising hitting store shelves.
In addition to getting out of a whirlwind of competition, Bend also says that it’ll be using this extra time to polish the game some more before it reaches the masses.
In other Days Gone news, last month fans got to see a brand new look at the game during an event in Tokyo. A few days before that, we got a brand new trailer for the open world shooter during a pre-TGS livestream.
Days Gone will be exclusive to PlayStation 4. If you want to pre-order the game via Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
